Derek Wold, PE, BCEE

With 28 years of consulting engineering experience, Derek is well versed in design-build project delivery. Early on, he recognized the advantages of the design-build process for clients, leading the initiative to form the Baxter & Woodman Boller Design Build partnership. Derek also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Baxter & Woodman and manages the firm’s Water and Wastewater Departments.

Steven G. Dalbec

Steven is a seasoned expert in the field, with over 50 years of professional construction experience throughout the Chicagoland area. Recognizing the advantage of the design-build approach for clients early on, he has completed over 1,500 projects involving improvements for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Remarkably, 150 of these projects were delivered using a design-build approach.

John Ambrose, PE

John brings invaluable expertise to the design-build process, with over 42 years of municipal civil engineering experience. As Vice President at Baxter & Woodman, he holds the authority to allocate staffing and resources, ensuring that the design-build projects receive the necessary support and expertise they require. John’s leadership ensures that our team delivers innovative solutions and exceed client expectations on every project.

Josh Boller

Since 2013, Josh has overseen the day-to-day operations of the Boller family’s construction management and general contracting company. With 20 years of construction experience, a past presidency at the Great Lakes Construction Association, and his current role as President of Boller Construction, his leadership enables him to allocate the necessary resources and expertise to ensure that Baxter & Woodman Boller Design Build excels on any design-build project. Josh is also an Associate Design-Build Professional certified through DBIA, adding to his extensive qualifications and expertise in delivering successful projects.
